Not just a trip, not just a retreat, Steubenville is a powerful weekend encounter with Jesus Christ. Hosted by Life Teen and Franciscan University, this three-day conference brings together thousands of teens from across the country for an experience that is deeply Catholic, spiritually transformative, and unforgettable.

Throughout the weekend, teens are immersed in dynamic talks from nationally recognized Catholic speakers, vibrant praise and worship, and powerful moments of prayer. At the heart of the conference is the opportunity to encounter Christ in the Eucharist through Mass, Adoration, and Reconciliation - where many teens experience profound moments of conversion and renewal. 

Steubenville creates a space where teens can step away from the distractions of everyday life and rediscover what truly satisfies: the love of God. Surrounded by a community of thousands of other young Catholics, they are encouraged, challenged, and equipped to live their faith boldly and authentically.

  • All 9th-12th Grade Teens/Rising freshmen/Recently graduated seniors

•  Where is the conference being held? 
  • Gas South Arena in Duluth, GA
• What does the cost for Steubenville include?  
  • The cost of $380 includes Conference Fees, lodging for 3 days/2 nights, all meals, and t-shirt.
  • Deposit of $50 is due June 1st. Teen will not have a spot unless deposit is paid.
  • Remaining Balance of $330 is due July 1st. 
• Where will the teens be sleeping?
  • Teens will be sleeping in hotel rooms, separated by gender. Adult Chaperones will be staying in separate rooms. 
• What time do I need to drop off /pick up my teen?
  • We will all meet at the conference in the Gas South Arena parking lot on July 10th at 2 pm to drop off your teen. The conference ends around 12 pm on Sunday. Please visit the Life Teen Parent Slack for real-time communications:

• Does my teen need to bring any additional money?
  • If they would like to. All meals and activities are covered by the cost of the conference, but there is a Marketplace at the conference. If your teen would like to purchase anything (clothing, books, snacks, etc.), then they will need to bring money to do so. 
• What not to bring?
  • Drugs, alcohol, and all other illegal substances are forbidden. If found, the authorities will be contacted first, then followed by the parents/guardians second, who will be asked to pick up the teen immediately. 
• What if my teen has a food allergy? 
  • Participants with food allergies must fill out that online form prior to June 1st in order for their allergy to be accommodated at the conference. 
• What if my teen has to arrive late or leave early?
  • No problem! Make sure that you inform the Life Teen staff ahead of time. Teens must be dropped off or picked up by an adult driver (over 21).
