Fifty Plus Luncheons Are Back with a new name: Fifty Plus Faith and Fellowship Ministry.
We’re excited to announce the return of our Fifty Plus luncheons. If you are age 50 or better, you’re invited to join us for a time of fellowship, laughter, and encouragement, in addition to a delicious meal. There will also be a short spiritual presentation by one of our amazing deacons.
Our Parish Time and Talent Fair Weekend will be October 17-18. Come and learn more about the many ministries at St. Michael's after all Masses. We are all called to service. How can you serve the Lord through serving others? Come and find out! "Indeed someone might say, "You have faith and I have works." Demonstrate your faith to me without works, and I will demonstrate my faith to you from my works. - James 2:18
Our Parish Gathering is back! It will be on Saturday, October 17, from 12-3pm at the Pavilion, Upper Parking Lot, and St. Gabriel Hall. We are so excited to have a fun day with all of our parishioners. Details to come soon but be ready to eat, drink, and be merry!
Gregorian chant, sacred polyphony and the sound of the Church’s centuries-old musical tradition will fill St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church Nov. 21, when the Catholic men’s vocal ensemble Floriani comes to Woodstock for a weekend of sacred music.
The weekend will culminate Saturday evening with a full Floriani concert at 6:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary. The concert is free and open to the public, and a free-will offering will be accepted.
For those who have never heard Floriani live, this is an opportunity not to be missed. A Floriani concert is an experience of transcendent sacred beauty, with music spanning thousands of years and bridging the gap between east and west, ancient and original.
